Taranaki New Zealand

Travelling to New Plymouth for this beautiful wedding was something I'll never forget. My first time on the north island did not disappoint. Mind you, our logistical planning for this one was a little off. Arriving at Auckland airport the afternoon before I though it would be a leisurely drive down the west coast towards New Plymouth but 5 hours later I was left to imagine the scenery I had just missed out on as night fell. Regardless, the next morning it was clear to me why lonely planet had voted the New Plymouth area of NZ as the number 2 destination on the annual list of places to visit. Mt Taranaki towers over a landscape that stretches out towards 100km of black sandy beaches with surf breaks that would be full of surfers if this was Australia. Have a look at this stunning wedding film for Shannon and Stu. Shannon grew up in New Plymouth and Stu in rural NSW. This is a great example of a couple who new exactly what they wanted and where they wanted to celebrate their special day. Looking over the ocean that separate two great countries in one of the most beautiful locations I have ever seen. Please visit one day. Enjoy :)
